Two Horses

islamicthinking:

Just up the road from my home is a field, with two horses in it. From a distance, each horse looks like any other horse.

But if you get a closer look you will notice something quite interesting…

One of the horses is blind.

His owner has chosen not to have him put down, but has made him a…

We shouldn’t be worried how I’m gonna find balance. No.That’s Allah’s job to guide you. Your job is to get sincere. Once you do that, once you become sincere to Allah. Allah will open doors. Allah will give you friends, Allah will give you teachers, Allah will give you access to resources, All of it are going to bring closer and closer to Allah and to the truth

- Dr. ‘Aidh Abdullah Al-Qarni #peringatanhebat #hasanano #nofilter

How to Live a Humble - Nouman Ali Khan

This summarizes all :).

People say “Write, until it stops hurting you”

islamic-quotes:

Islam considers freedom to be a natural right of the human being. Life becomes devoid of worth when freedom is not present. When a person loses his freedom, his inner self dies, even though on the outside, he continues to live; eating, drinking, working, and going through the other motions of life.
Islam elevates freedom to such a level that it has made free thought the proper way of recognizing God’s existence.

Freedom means nothing should own you. Freedom for me is you put this world in your hands not in your heart. Freedom is you believe with what’s in Allah’s hand, not in your hands, and you let go what is in your hands (zuhd). It is when everything is always between you and Allah not others.

So,
"Tell the gravity it can’t control you anymore" - Yasmin Mogahed.

Sometimes Allah tests us two times with the same test because the first time we failed. So the second time He says “I want you to pass.”

storiesofthesahabah:

Sometimes we get into that state where we find nothing to comfort us, no food can make us taste happiness of relief, no words of our companions can pinch our hearts nor can any hug of our family can make us feel better…

I tell you, that’s the moment you should put your head on the ground, make sujood, cry it out to Allaah Azza Wa Jall, wallahi at the moment you raise your head, such relief will come to you, subhan’Allaah.

Nothing can comfort you like how He comforts you, you just have to have faith, when such times come, know that He is there for you, he never left you, he never lost hope in you coming back to Him.

Reunite with Him. Reconnect with Him. Pray. It’s not too late.

Remember what it is said in the Qur’aan:

And who can forgive sins, except Allah? - 3:135

Reflect from the story of Ali Ibn Abi Talib Radiyallahu Anhu, a man promised Jannah, but would pray and make sujood from late night until fajr was about to come! subhan’Allaah.
